Marie Ann Crawford was born on September 24, 1977 to Ruth L. Crawford and Billy Crawford in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She was educated in Spartanburg County School District Seven Schools, she was employed at Chartwell Food Services, Holiday Inn Express and IAC.
Marie was extremely joyful, honest, passionate, loving, supportive, and a mother figure to many.
Marie left to cherish fond memories to: her parents Ruth L. Crawford and Billy Crawford; her daughter, Jacquanna M. Crawford; her son, Lacquan A. Irby; her granddaughters, Ty’Nia Hall and Ja’Nyla Davidson; her siblings, Jonathon McDowell, Clifton (Tasha) Crawford, Wesley Crawford, Trena Crawford and Cierra (Timothy) Means; her aunts and uncles, Mildred McDowell, Diane Vernon, Mary Scruggs, Lettie McDowell, Wilma Gilliam, and Marion McDowell Jr.; and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
On Saturday, January 18, 2025, Marie Ann Crawford transitioned peacefully at her home in Spartanburg, South Carolina surrounded by love. Marie's infectious smile that could brighten up any room and sweet spirit will truly be missed by her family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC.
