My deepest condolences to the family. I worked with Ms Mary in PACU at SRHS. She was instrumental in helping me get my job, since I wasn't from around here and didn't know a soul, she took me under her wing. I loved her dearly, she will be deeply missed. God Bless her and your family. Sincerely Linda Maggio
I worked with Mary at Spartanburg Regional in the PACU. Everyone loved Mary and she just loved us back. She shared wonderful stories of her girls and grand girls. I hope you know how much she cherished you all. Her favorite day of the year was when the hydrangeas bloomed along the hospital entrance. She would gently gather flowers and then delicately arrange them in vases for all to enjoy. Blessings to your family. I
I worked with Mary at Spartanburg Regional for many years. She was always such a lovely and caring person. She was a truly wonderful human being. May her memory be a blessing. Beth Levine
I am sorry for your loss. My mom would come home from work and talk about Mary Harris. I remember she had a strong faith.
Mama Harris is what I remember always calling her. Even though she wasn't my family, I felt like she was. She would always give the sweetest hugs and compliments when I would see her at church. I remember doing her hair and when she came to her appointment, she always said she wanted to bake something for me and she just was always so nice to me. She loved asking about my nieces and nephews. I'll never forget those sweet memories of Mama Harris. Rest In Peace. ❤️ (Tanesha)

I first met Ms Mary in 1995 when I went to work in PACU. Ms Mary was one of the most kind souls I have ever met on this earth. If there ever was an angel among us, it was Mary! She was nothing less than a steadfast and obedient child of God. She never met a stranger and was a mother to many! Ms Mary, I am rejoicing in the Lord knowing you're sitting in our Savior's presence! I will pray for your family the coming days for I know they are missing you dearly. It's farewell for now...until we meet again! Fly high my sweet Mary! I love you!❤️
My life was touched by Mary as an Spartanburg Regional employee. She was always so sweet and helpful when our paths crossed. I know she is rejoicing in our Father's mansion. Peace and love for those she leaves behind.
God I don't know what to say about this but you got a good one you may have to tell her to stop walking so much and she may even want to bake you something are even make something so if you run into her that that would be my Mom Harris and I'm her Chocolate Drop Rest easy love😇
Heaven admitted another Angel. I can visualize the rejoicing. There are angels with us here on this earth. And, this sweet, sweet lady was surely one of them.
I'll never forget that day, back in 2001, at SRMC after a car wreck. I was laying on a stretcher, in much pain and fear, and she leaned over me with tears streaming down her face and asked me to make her a promise: "Promise me you'll go read the book of Job." (And, as soon as I was at home, I did just that. I read the book of Job, 3 times."
I once told Mary Harris, "Mary, if I wasn't married to Karen, I'd ask you to marry me." She told me that God put me and Karen together. She would share stories of how much she loved her soul mate (her late husband), who was in heaven waiting for her.
I could go on and on and on, sharing about this wonderful lady and servent of our Heavenly Father.
LOVE you Mary Harris. This world needs more people like you.
Lewis Tucker (My wife Karen worked with Mary at PACU)
Lois and Alisha, I met Ms. Mary in 1989 when I was a new Graduate Nurse at SRMC. She was a sweet person. Always had a word of encouragement. Praying for you in your time of bereavement. She will be missed. Pam Gist.
What a beautiful person and how much I loved her. Mary was a light of joy to work with in PACU. She was definitely the hardest worker I knew. She will truly be missed but heaven is rejoicing her for being such a loyal servant to our Lord and Savior!!!
I am so sorry for your loss. Ms Mary was one of the kindest, most loving people I have ever had the honor of knowing. I worked with her in PACU as a brand new nurse and she always knew the right thing to say when I was having a rough day. She had such a strong faith and of course came to my bedside to pray with me before I had surgery. She often praying with and over each of us. This beautiful angel is still watching over all of us! Thank you so much for the difference you made in my life, love you Ms Mary!
