Spartanburg, SC- Mary Frances Norris, born on June 20, 1941, peacefully entered into eternal rest on July 20, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Cleveland Greer and Frances J. Greer.
She was a member of Majority Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC.
Ms. Norris retired from the South Carolina School of Deaf and Blind after thirty years of service.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are her sons, Charles Norris, Carnie Norris III and Clyde Norris; two grandchildren, Shundra Norris and Alton Norris; her sister, Hazel Jeter; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Greer; and her brothers, Cleve Greer and Jimmy Greer.
A Celebration of the Life of Mrs. Mary Frances Greer Norris will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Shiloh Memorial Gardens, 4040 New Cut Road, Inman, SC. The Reverend William E. Smith will officiate.

Ms. Mary Frances was one of the warmest and most caring person I had ever met. I admire the life she led. She was a smart lady who always inspired everyone. She was like a mother to me! I am truly sorry to hear of her passing. Please accept our condolences and may our prayers help comfort you. She was surely a great woman and will be missed by everyone who knows her. May our Lord bless you and your family during this time of grief.
