Obituary For Mary Evelyn Patterson
Ms. Mary Evelyn Patterson, 85, peacefully entered rest on Monday, July 14, 2025. Ms.Patterson was the daughter of Mrs. Arrie Lee Patterson Gist and the late Mr. Tillman Patterson, Sr.
Ms. Patterson is remembered for her dedication to God and her love of and care for her family and others.
She is survived by her two sisters, Roberta P. Miller and Joyce M. Patterson of Washington, D.C.; niece, Linda Greenwood of Whitsett, N.C.; and nephew, Kirk Greenwood of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Graveside Services Celebrating the Life of Ms. Mary
Evelyn Patterson will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 18, 2025, at Lincoln Memorial Gardens, Spartanburg, SC. The Reverend Ron Henderson will officiate.

Ms. Arrie and Ms. Joyce, the time and conversations we've shared were a blessing! I'm sure you know how much I care for you'll and please know if I can ever do anything for you, call me. I will continue to pray for God to comfort you. Ms Evelyn was a sweet gift and I will treasure the memories.
Just know that you all are in my thoughts and prayer. Evelyn was a very dear friend to me someone I could talk to and laught with. Our favorite subject was food. What did you eat today? And what we want and what we had a taste for? Evelyn loved the Lord and people she was always concerned about others. I'm going to miss her very much! Love Sister Betty🌹❤️
