Obituary For Minnie Lee Gary
Mrs. Minnie Lee Gary of Spartanburg, SC passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026, after a brief illness.
Minnie was the daughter of the late Elisabeth McDowell and Plesse McDowell. She was the wife of the late John Willie Gary.
Minnie attended Cumming St. School. She worked at New Day Clubhouse and Skylyn Place. Mrs. Gary was a member of Cumming St. Baptist Church until her health failed.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her four sons, John Ray Gary, Rudolph Gary (Diane), Michael Gary (Robin) and Tyrone Gary all of Spartanburg, SC; her eight grandchildren, Heith Gary, Regina Gary, Christopher Gary, Brandon Gary, Eric Fowler, Derrick Fowler, Patricia "Curley Sue" Fowler and Ray Jr.; a very special aunt, Janie Foster; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Gardens, Spartanburg, SC.
