Union, SC – Mr. Donald Garner of 257 Duncan Avenue, Buffalo, SC, peacefully entered rest on Saturday, March 29, 2014. Mr. Garner was the son of the late Mr. Monroe Garner and the late Mrs. Alice Burke Garner. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his two sons, Donald (Crystal) Garner, Jr. of Gaffney, SC and Scottie (Yolanda) Garner of Anderson, SC; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel G. Greer of Buffalo, SC, Mrs. Alice A. (Ben) Rice of Union, SC and Ms. Mable Garner of Orangeburg, SC; two brothers, Mr. James D. Garner of Buffalo, SC and Kenneth R. (Catherine) Garner of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of the Life of Mr. Donald Garner will be held on Thursday, April 3rd, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Luke Baptist Church, 718 Lukesville Road, Buffalo, SC. Mr. Garner will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The Reverend George W. Shell, Jr. will officiate. Interment will be held at St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery. J.W. Woodward Funeral Home
