SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mr. Fred Allen Holcombe, 53, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 27, 2013. Mr. Holcombe was the husband of Mrs. Debbie Proctor Holcombe of the home. Mr. Holcombe was the son of Mr. Caleb (Elease) Holcombe and Mrs. Fannie Jones Holcombe. He was a native of Spartanburg County.Mr. Holcombe was a member of White Hall Independent Methodist Church.Loving survivors include: his wife; his parents; two daughters, Shameka Lindsey and Brittany Holcombe both of Spartanburg, SC; his son, Dondra' Lawrence Holcombe of Spartanburg, SC; three brothers, Caleb (Brenda) Holcombe, Jr. of Hemet, CA, Anthony (Callie) Holcombe, and Everett (Vanessa) Young of Boiling Springs, SC; three sisters, Brenda (Samie) Sims of Greenville, SC, Sandra (Kenneth) McDowell of Louisiana, Shelby (Tim) Tanner of Spartanburg, SC; three step-brothers, Alton, Cecil, and Johnny Dodd of Spartanburg, SC; one step-sister, Cecila McIntyre of Spartanburg, SC; his mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Proctor, Sr. of Chesnee, SC; and five grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, 3:00 PM at the John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel. Pastor Johnny Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in the White Hall Independent Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the home, at 482 Irby Road, Spartanburg, SC.J. W.
