COWPENS, SC – Harold Milton James, 76, of 121 Bobo Dr., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 23, 2014. He was born on May 16, 1938 to the late Mr. Jimmy James and Mrs. Dorothy Bobo James. Mr. James was a native of Spartanburg County, South Carolina. Mr. James was a member of the Upper Shady Grove Baptist Church, where he served as a faithful member of the All-Male Choir. James retired from the Draper Cooperation after many years of service. He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to: his sister; Thelma (Kenneth) Bigsby, his aunts; Lillian James, Virginia Bobo and Ernestine James; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Mr. James was preceded in death by his sisters; Bertha J. Jackson, Vivian L. Fowler, Elva Ruth White and Wilma D. James. A Celebration of the Life of Harold Milton James will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Upper Shady Grove Baptist Church, 1580 John Dodd Rd., Wellford, SC 29385. The Reverend James Brewton will officiate. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
