COWPENS, SC-- Mr. James Marcus McKinney, 53, of 210 McGraw Rd., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at his residence. Mr. McKinney was the husband of Mrs. Marilyn Foster. He was the son of Mrs. Lillian McKinney Miller of Chesnee, SC and the late Mr. Vohnnie Miller. He was a native of Spartanburg County. He was employed with Auriga Polymersinc for thirty four years. Survivors include: his daughters, LeShaunda (Roderick) Henderson of Florence, SC, Ebony McKinney of Chesnee, SC; three step-children, Zonya (Antilius) Johnson of Boiling Springs, SC; Bryant Foster of Campbell, NC, Christopher (Tiffany) Foster of Boone, NC; four sisters, Marian (Bradford) Mays, Myrtle (Danny) Moore, Annie (Bruce) Surratt and Bessie (Hylie) Copeland all of Chesnee, SC; five brothers, Thomas (Theann) McKinney of Blue Springs, MO, Hqarlis McKinney, Ronnie (Sandra) McKinney, Harold Miller and Jackie Gaffney all of Chesnee, SC; two grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Gethsemane Baptist Church, Chesnee, SC. Pastor Ronnie Miller will officiate. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Memorial Gardens, Chesnee, SC. The family will receive friends at the home. J. W. Woodward Funeral Home.

Mark was a very close friend who will be greatly missed. Working with someone for 34 years you see the kind of person that they are. Mark McKinney was the best. I knew that he always had my back. May God bless and comfort each of his loved ones.
