SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mr. Johnny Wilbert Atchison, 92, of 431 Arkwright Dr., entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Inman Healthcare Center. He was the widower of Mrs. Edith McKissick Atchison. He was the son of the late Mr. Will C. Atchison and Mrs. Bessie Montgomery Atchison. He was member of the Greater Trinity A.M.E. Church where he served as a trustee.Survivors include a son, Mr. John Atchison (Sheila) of Bronx, NY; two daughters, Ms. Audrey Atchison Howlette of Atlanta, GA, and Mrs. Makalia G. Fuller of Spartanburg, SC; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Smith of Brooklyn, NY; two brothers, Mr. Charles Atchison (Lillie) and Mr. Renell Atchison (Pearl) both of Spartanburg, SC; a devoted niece, Ms. Doris Atchison Clowney of Spartanburg, SC; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Greater Trinity A.M.E. Church. Rev. Jesse Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.J.W. Woodward Funeral Home
