Lonnie Ray Gentry SPARTANBURG, SC- Mr. Lonnie Ray Gentry, 51, of 101 Landale Drive, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 15, 2014. He was the son of Lillie Lowrance Gentry and the late Thomas Gentry, Sr. Mr. Gentry was a native of Spartanburg County, SC. He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories his brothers, Johnny, Thomas, Robert, Ronnie and Michael Gentry all of Spartanburg, SC; his sisters, Martha Ann Landrum, Mary Ruth Copeland and Marianne Boyd all of Spartanburg, SC; his special friend, Patricia Ruth Mitchell; his granddaughter, Ay'mia Worthy; and a host of relatives and dear friends. A Celebration of the Life of Lonnie Ray Gentry will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at The Worship Center, 945 Caanan Road, Roebuck, SC 29376. The Pastor Sharome L. Gentry will officiate. Interment will be held in Good Shepard Memorial Gardens, 4164 Boiling Springs Rd., Boiling Springs, SC 29316. The Family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Lillie Gentry, 310 Wilmont St., Spartanburg, SC 29306.
