Obituary For Mrs. Lillie Bell Atchison

Mrs. Lillie Bell Atchison peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 4, 2018.

Survivors include: her husband, Charles E. Atchison, Sr.; her son, Maurice Atchison; her step-daughter, Brenda Atchison; her grandchildren, Charlita E. Atchison, Charles E. “Trey” Atchison, III and Tyler Atchison; her great-grandchildren, Bryashia M. Atchison-Henderson, Christopher T. Henderson, London S. Atchison, Britain S. S. Atchison, Chase Atchison, Brazelle Atchison and Brooklyn Atchison; her sister, Frances K. Patton; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mrs. Atchison was preceded in death by her son, Charles E. “Butch” Atchison, Jr. and her sister, Mrs. Ernestine K. King.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC.

A Celebration of the Blessed Life of Lillie Bell Atchison will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Silver Hill Memorial United Methodist Church, 778 John B. White Sr. Blvd., Spartanburg, SC. The Reverend Jerry Louis Gadsden will officiate. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC.
