SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Rebecca Hunter DeGraffenreidt, 72, of 250 Hudson Barksdale Blvd. Apt. # 112, entered into eteranl rest on Sunday, November 23, 2013 at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of Mr. Henry DeGraffenreidt, Sr. She was a native of Spartanburg County. Survivors include: three daughters, Sophia DeGraffenreidt of New York; Veronica DeGraffenreidt of Morrisville, PA; and Liza Carr of Spartanburg, SC; one son, Henry DeGraffenreidt of Bronx, NY; and a son, Stanley DeGraffenreidt preceded her in death; three sisters, Azalee Johnson, Betty Boyd, and Carrie(Jesse) Logan of Spartanburg, SC; four brothers, James Hunter, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; Broadus Hunter of Brooklyn, NY; Fred Hunter of Lexington, KY; and Charles Hunter of Spartanburg, SC; Nathaniel Hunter preceded her in death; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 noon at the J.W. Woodward Memorial Chapel. Elder Eli Gamble will officiate. Burial will be in the Allen Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening at the John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel from 6:00-7:00 PM. The family is at the home. J.W. Woodward Funeral Home
