SPARTANBURG, SC-- Ms. Carolyn Barnes, of 155 Mt. Zion Road, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Jefferson Barnes and Mollie G. Gray.Survivors include two sons, Jarvis Barnes (Mattie) of Spartanburg, SC, and Adrian Barnes of Boiling Springs, SC; three daughters, Tchacona Barnes of Charlotte, NC, Danielle Kerns of Spartanburg, SC, and Kenyetta Barnes of Duncan, SC; one sister, Gwendolyn Barnes of Cincinnati, OH; a brother, Jeffrey Barnes of Cincinnati, OH; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be held Friday, March 30, 2012, at 1:00 pm at the Upper Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.J.W.
