Obituary For Oree Frank Rogers

Deacon Oree Frank Rogers, 91, entered into eternal rest on December 14, 2017. Mr. Rogers was born in Roebuck, SC to the late Deacon Luther W. and Elmira Foster Rogers. He was the widower of Allie C. Rogers. Deacon Rogers became a member of Foster Chapel Baptist Church at an early age where he served in the All-Male Choir. Mr. Rogers retired from Mayfair Mills after forty years of service. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his twin daughters, Tomaryl D. Young (Willie) and Michelle R. Brown (Harold) both of Spartanburg, SC; his son, Rawn R. Rogers of Roebuck, SC; his former daughter-in-law, Sherian W. Rogers of Sumter, SC; his two grandsons, Quincy Young and Travis Deggrafinreid; his three granddaughters, Lamentra Young, Yashica Parks and Regine Rogers; his three great-granddaughters, Alexis Young, Quinisha Tanner and Brelyn Parks; and a host of extended family and friends. A Celebration of the Life of Deacon Oree Frank Rogers will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Foster Chapel Baptist Church, 2800 Stone Station Rd., Roebuck, SC. Rev. Dr. Patrick Suber will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Harold and Michelle Brown, 1504 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Apt. L5, Spartanburg, SC. J. W. Woodward Funeral Home
