INMAN, SC-- Patricia "Pat" Smith Caldwell, 55, of 313 Clevy Bush Drive, peacefully entered rest on Friday, September 7, 2012, following a brave fight with brain cancer.Patricia was the daughter of the late Mr. Arzolia Smith and Mrs. Odell Talley Smith; she was a native of Cherokee County. She was the widow of William "Buddy" Caldwell.Mrs. Caldwell was a faithful member of Redemption World Outreach Center of Greenville, where she served with The Baking Ministry."Pat" is survived by her loving family: siblings, Shirley Wilkins of Cowpens, William Vernon (Gracie) Smith of Tampa, FL, Mary Louise ("Buddy" Watson) Brannon of Chesnee, Diane (Larry) Ballenger of Lyman, William T. (Ellen) Smith of the home, Joyce Huey of Spartanburg and Jacqueline (Calvin) Byrd of Spartanburg.Patricia was predeceased by siblings, Kenneth Smith, Teresa Smith and Cynthia Cleveland."Pat" is also survived by aunts, Cynthia Chappelle of Gaffney and Nancy Brown of New York; her brother-in-law, Robert (Lois) Caldwell; sisters-in-law, Dot, Lou and Annette Caldwell; and other dear relatives.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at 12:00 noon at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church of 2911 South Pine Street, Spartanburg. Pastor James W. Splawn will officiate.The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William T.
