Mrs. Patrica A. Hollis Miller, 83, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Lillie Mae Ethel Hollis and Woodrow Wilson Washington. She was the wife of the late Amos Miller, Jr.
Patricia was formally employed with Spartanburg District 7 School System. Mrs. Miller worked in food service at the following schools: Chapman Elementary, Whitlock Junior High and Z.L. Madden. She was an office assistant at The J. W. Woodward Funeral Home.
She was a faithful member of Kingdom New Life where she served on the Mother’s Board, Communion Committee, Missionary Board, and Pastor’s Aid. Patricia loved everyone and loved the Lord.
Mrs. Miller was predeceased by: her two brothers, Robert Lewis Hollis and James Cohens; her two nephews, Azon Hollis Wilburn and Jeremiah Hollis; and her grandmother, Julia Washington Mills.
Mrs. Patricia Miller leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to: her nieces, Pamela L. (Lesesne) McEntire of Spartanburg, SC, Kimberly (Rodney) Shuller of Jackson, MS, Vanessa (Bobby) Washington, Marcie Hollis and Trina Hollis all of Long Beach, NY; her nephews, Tommy (Betty) Mayfield and Tommy Anderson both of Spartanburg, SC, Kevin Hollis of Central Islip, NY, Melvin (Marion) Lewis, Tony Lewis, Stephen (Beverly) Hollis and Jerrold Hollis all of Long Beach, NY; and her treasured friends, Dr. and Mrs. Terry Johnson.
A Celebration of the Life of Patricia A. Hollis Miller will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Roebuck, SC.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC.
