Queen E. Collins, 75, transitioned into paradise on October 19, 2018 at her home. She was born on April 10, 1943 in Spartanburg, SC to the late Nathaniel and Vassie Roberson Collins.
Queen was a 1961 graduate from Florence Chapel High School in Wellford, SC.
She retired from Mary Black Hospital after twenty-five years of service.
Fond and loving memories will forever be cherished by: her three sisters, Drucilla Collins of the home, Odessa Collins of Berlin, NJ and Mary (Milton) Glover of Columbia, SC; her two nephews, Darius (Jessica) Suber of Columbia, SC and Nicholas (Caitlin) Glover of Tampa, FL; her two great-nephews, Justin Suber of Wilmington, NC and Aiden Glover of Tampa, FL; and her two great-nieces, Amber Suber of Columbia, SC and Ellery Glover of Tampa, FL.
A Celebration of the Life of Queen E. Collins will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 110 Brewton Rd., Spartanburg, SC. Rev. Leon Wright will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
