Rev. Ralph Burris was born in Gaffney, SC to the late Evangelist Rosie Lee Burris Jefferies and Jack Corry on January 6, 1946.
On March 22, 2026 God called him home and granted him eternal rest. He lived a life full of loved and it never faded.
Ralph joined the Mason which he loved with all his heart.
Rev. Burris was saved and was a Holy Ghost filled minister at Magnolia Nursing Home. He went far and near preaching the Gospel.
Mr. Burris retired from the City of Spartanburg as a Concrete Finisher.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his grandparents; his sister, Teresa A. Wilkins; and his brother, Monroe Burris.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his son, Ralph Craig Burris of Chesnee, SC; his daughter; two grandchildren; three sisters, Rev. Floree Copeland (late Jerry Copeland) of Chesnee, SC, Doris Lucille Burris of Spartanburg, SC and Shirley Ann Burris of Spartanburg, SC; his brother, Rev. Freddie Lee Burris of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Burial will be in the Heritage Memorial Gardens, Roebuck, SC.
Masonic Rites will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. followed by receiving of friends from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel.
