Rev. Samuel Lee Leach was born on Jume 6, 1949 to Fletcher and Louise Leach in Gaffney sc. He left his earthly home on December 3, 2025 to take residence at his heavenly home.
He was a former employee of Cone Mills for over 30 years. He was last employed at Berhardt Furniture. He was a faithful member of the Mikes Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Gaffney, SC for over 50 years. He was licensed to preach under the leadership of the late Rev. Paul Miller on June 2l, 1981. He was later ordained to preach the Gospel under the leadership of the late Rev. Samuel M. Johnson July10, 1999. He also served as Interim Pastor for several years. He also sung with The Relations.
He loved basketball, softball, fishing and cornhole. He loved cutting grass. He loved spending time with his family. He was a true Dallas Cowboys fan!
He married Elaine Allen on August 31, 1968.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fletcher and Louise Leach. His siblings, Francis Leach, Bobby Leach, Fletcher Leach Jr., Roy D. Leach, Betty Houses and Mary L. Moore.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: his wife of 57 years, Elaine Leach, of the home; His daughters Vickie Brown (Willie) of Gaffney, SC, Nina Gory (Cory) of Columbia, SC, Min. Donna Leach and Min. Stacy Degree (Phillip) both of Gaffney, SC. His sons, Samuel Leach, of the home, James Leach (Shaquita) of Charlotte, NC. His sisters, Jenelle Holmes , Linda Kay White ond Peggy Mills all of Gaffney, SC, His sister-in-law, Eloise Leach of Gaffney, SC. His aunt, Valeree Manning of Gaffney, SC. Nineteen grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 godchildren, Jeffrey and Joaquina Hicks and 4 god grandchildren. A special friend, Edith Grant. A host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Mike's Creek Baptist Church,1317 Ellis Ferry Rd., Gaffney, SC. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Public Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Leach we are definitely gonna miss you..you've been in the Allen family for so long.. you were more than a brother in law.. you were our brother regardless of being married to our sister..yes it hurt to see you go.. but to make it to heaven.. we all must take that same road.. so until we meet again.take your rest. we'll meet again 💐
