Obituary For Revia Dendy
Revia Johnson Dendy, 59, answered the Master's call on Monday, March 30, 2026 at her home surrounded by her sister, Kathy Dawkins and family.
A native of Spartanburg County. She was the daughter of the late Helen Johnson and Grant Gossett.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her husband, George Dendy; her four daughters, Dytisha Johnson of the home, Rebecca and LaTasha Johnson both of Spartanburg, SC and Erica Alexander of Spartanburg, SC; her son, LaTron Jones (Viktoriya) of Spartanburg, SC; her sisters, Mary Davis (Rex), Theresa McIntyre, Kathy Dawkins (Louis), Bessie Johnson (Gene), Marge Dandy, Lillian Murphy, Hattie Jackson and Linda Faye; her brothers, Sherman Gossett Johnson, Charles Jones, Daniel Gossett, Granvil Gossett, Johnny Gossett; her fourteen grandchildren; two grandchildren reared in the home, LaBron and Isiah; her two lifelong friends, Kathy Sullivan and Kathy Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews and other friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC. Burial will folow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 14050 E. Wade Hapton Blvd., Greer, SC.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel.
