Mr. Roosevelt Tracy, Sr. entered into eternal rest on May 5, 2025. A native of Spartanburg County. Mr. Tracy was the son of the late Alice Geter Tracy Hardy and Marcus Porter. He was the husband to the late Hattie Mae Johnson Tracy.
He retired from Bud Company in Philadelphia.
Mr. Tracy was a die hard Pensylvania Eagles fan.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his daughter, Kay Frances Tracy of Spartanburg, SC; his son, Roosevelt Tracy, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; five grandchildren, Antwan Smith, Roosevelt Suber, Rashall Tracy, Alexis Walker, and Tanisha Tracy; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; six sisters, Saral Taylor of Pacolet, SC, Hazel Eison of Pacolet, SC, Inez Neal of Spartanburg, SC, Peggy Hardy of Spartanburg, SC, Ruth Louise Porter of Atlantic City and Beatrice martha Williams of Atlantic City; one brother, John Earl Tracy in Pacolet, SC; a special cousin, Penny Porter of Pacolet, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his granddaughter, Kira Tracy; his siblings, Betty Wannamaker, Leroy Tracy, Ben Tracy, Tommy Webster and Ricky Hardy.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at New Salem Zion Baptist Church, Pacolet, SC. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
