Rosa Lee Hardy
Spartanburg, SC- Rosa Lee Hardy, 88, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 15, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Robert Henderson and Virginia Hemphill Smith.
Mrs. Hardy was a member of Montgomery Chapel Baptist Church.
She was employed with Derek Millican Textile Mills as well as E.P. Todd Elementary School.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are 5 of her children, LaVerne S. Brown, Eddie L. Smith, Clifford B. Smith, Sonja M. Rice, and Valerie D. Smith; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and her sisters, Mary E. Wannamaker and Coy Mobley; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Rosa was preceded in death by her son, Paul Edward Smith; two of her sisters, Daisy Lee Littlejohn and Annie R. Pickett; and her brother, Reverend James O. Smith.
A Celebration of the Life of Rosa Lee Hardy will be held graveside on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at Montgomery Chapel Baptist Church, 385 Sunny Acres Road, Pacolet, SC.
Burial will also be at Montgomery Chapel Baptist Church.
