SARAH D. BLAND Spartanburg, SC – Sarah Diane Bland, 61, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Ms. Bland was the daughter of the late Mr. Ish Bland and Mrs. Sarah Cheatham Bland. She was a native of Spartanburg, SC. Sarah was a member of Bunton Institution Methodist Church. She retired from Piedmont Interstate Fair. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her son, Michael (Sabrina) Bomar; her brother, Raymond Bland; her sisters, Cornelia (Berry) Bland-Curry and Brenda “Faye” Bland Brown; her three grandchildren; her very special friend, Willie Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. A Celebration of the Life of Sarah Diane Bland will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Bishop Perry Davison will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home, 308 Farley St., Spartanburg, SC and at the home of her sister, Brenda “Faye” Bland Brown, 419-A Alma Byrd Ln., Spartanburg, SC.
