Sarah Ann Dawkins Spartanburg, SC- Sarah Ann Dawkins, 67, of 112 Pyle Court, was called home to be with the Lord on July 15, 2014. Sarah was a native of Spartanburg County; she was the daughter of the late Mr. Luther Dawkins and Mrs. Azalee Hollis Dawkins. Ms. Dawkins was a dedicated member of New Zion Baptist Church. She loved her church and family. Sarah retired from Wade's restaurant. Left to cherish memories are her son, Calvin E. Dawkins; her daughter, Andera Dawkins of the home; her granddaughters, Deyasiah and Tiffany both reared in the home and Tajma Williams of Spartanburg, SC; her great granddaughter, Trinity Booker; her great grandsons, Christian Dawkins reared in the home and Grayson Miller of Spartanburg, SC; her sisters, Icalee (Roy Lee) Mathis, Myrtle Duncan and Mena (John) Hawkins of Spartanburg, SC; her sisters in-law, Gwendolyn and Nancy Dawkins of Greensboro, NC and Mary Dawkins of Spartanburg, SC; her great aunt, Rosetta Dawkins of Greensboro, NC. Sarah was preceded in death by her brothers, Luther, Robert Lee and Thomas Dawkins; her sisters, Willie Mae and Olla Belle Gray. A Celebration of the Life of Ms. Sarah Ann Dawkins will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church, 550 Plainview Drive, Spartanburg, SC. The Reverend Ricky Gray will officiate. Interment will be held in Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 South Church St., Spartanburg, SC. The family will receive friends at the home.
