Obituary For Savannah Williams

Spartanburg, SC - Savannah Bobo Williams, 95, of Spartanburg, SC passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Physical Rehabilitation Center of Spartanburg. Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Annie Larcey Bobo Miller. She was the widow of Curtis Williams, Sr. Mrs. Williams was the oldest baptized member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully for eighty-three years. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her six sons, Curtis Williams, Jr., Eugene Williams, Sr., Lassie (Vernita) Williams, Theodore Williams, Randolph (Yvette) Williams, Kenneth Williams, Sr.; her two daughters, Juanita Cross and Sherry Gory; Timothy McCreary reared in the home; her twenty-six grandchildren; her twenty-nine great-grandchildren; her four great-great grandchildren; and her faithful and loving caregiver, Diane Means. She was preceded in death by two children, Larcey Mae Williams, and Otis Stinson Williams. A Celebration of the Life of Savannah Bobo Williams will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 502 S. Daniel Morgan Ave., Spartanburg, SC. Interment will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Juanita Cross, 99 Braddock Rd., Spartanburg, SC.
