Sedrick Lee Williams was born on April 2, 1980 to the late Mr. Sammy Lee and Vivian Williams. He went home to rest on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Sedrick attended school in Spartanburg, SC then relocated to Washington, DC in the mid 80’s with his late fatherSammy Williams. Sedrick attended Elliot Sr. High Schoolin Washington DC.
He attended Higher Praise Ministries Church in Washington, DC and loved to hear Pastor Joann Davis preach. He appreciated her ministering to him whenever he ran into her. Sedrick worked various jobs performing janitorial services at Maryland Sports and Learning complex for a few years, Chop Point Power Service Facility, Lunch Coast Services, and as a street vendor selling various colognes.
He was especially close to his uncle Dale Williams.Riding back and forth from DC to South Carolina,hanging with their cousins the Fair family, Brian, Abraham and Janice and to help take care of his grandmother, Jannie Mae Williams.
He was very funny and enjoyed a good laugh. Sedrick enjoyed being around his family, extended family and friends. Some of his favorites he liked to hang with were the Washington family, Steven (Scooby), Joyce, Jill, Reedie and other Washington family members. He loved calling and talking to his cousin, Antonio (Tony), his sister Keisha Wiliams and his nieces and nephews.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his devoted sisters Keisha Williams of Baltimore, Md, SapraneWilliams of Washington, DC, Sarmada Williams of Spartanburg, SC, Amir Williams of Washington, DC and brother Rashed Williams of Spartanburg SC, his uncle Dale Wiliams of Washington, DC and a host of family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Livestream will be available via Facebook on the TEEFERGUSONREPORT at https://evt.live/sedric-williams
