Pacolet, SC- Shirley M. Sims, 77, peacefully entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 4, 2016. Mrs. Sims was the daughter of the late Adolphus and Lucille Mims. She was the widow of John W. Sims. Shirley was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her son, Richard Foster; her sisters, Ruby M. Smith and Betty E. Nelson; her brother, Adolphus Mims, Jr. and Robert B. Mims; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Sims was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Foster; a brother, Joseph Mims and a sister, Helen Aiken. A Celebration of the Life of Shirley M. Sims will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, 618 Forest St., Jonesville, SC. Reverend Anthony Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
