Virginia Surratt, 65, passed on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Curtis, Sr. and Lula Mae Curtis. Mrs. Surratt was the wife of Donald Surratt. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her husband, Donald; her daughters, Lucy (Dovis) Twitty and Gina Jackson; her sons, Ricky Curtis and Jermaine (Ujena) Jackson; her sister, Lessie Mae Pugh; her brothers, Lewis (Morine) Curtis, Jr., Dan (Rev. Barbara) Curtis and Carson Curtis; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; four goddaughters; and a host of dear relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Twitty. A Celebration of the Life of Virginia Surratt will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Friends in Christ United Methodist Church, 613 Fairfield Street Chesnee, South Carolina. Reverend Tammy Lyles will officiate. Interment will be in the Fernanders Memorial Gardens, 1152 Turkey Farm Road, Chesnee, SC.
