William Cullen Greene was born in Hemingway SC on 12-12-41 his Mother Louvenia R Greene and Father Benjamin R Greene SR and 4 siblings preceded him in death Pearl, Roberta, Richard, and Ben jr. William gained his education in Hemingway SC there after he moved to NY and married Frances Greene who preceded him and served in the US Army with an honorable discharge. William then pursued his career as a correction officer for the state of New York where he retired. During that time he raised his only daughter Earline Greene whom he leaves behind grand children Suree, Jordan, and Javon. Great grand children Jayden, Kamaire, Zariah ,Nathaniel and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives and friends. William was known most for his cross word puzzles and reading multiple books at once. Not only was he very educated but he also knew how to crack a good joke that was sure to leave a smile on your face. Though he is no longer in his shell he is still here in spirit and as you are reading this he is telling you he is going to cook his din din better known as his famous ribeye steak because his stomach was touching his back! William has reunited with his mother, father and siblings Roberta, Pearl, Richard and Ben jr and gained his wings fly high angels.
