Willie James Branson SPARTANBURG, SC - Willie James Branson, 68, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Mr. Branson was the son of the late Mr. Tom Branson and Mrs. Lucille Fuller Branson. He was a native of Spartanburg County. Mr. Branson was a member of Foster Chapel Baptist Church. Willie retired from Philip Fiber. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his son, Tyrone Branson Davila; his sisters, JoAnn (Leroy) Douglas, Judy Branson, Mamie Branson all of Roebuck, SC, Betty Jones of Spartanburg, SC and Ellen Branson of Moore, SC; his brothers, Tom Miller of Spartanburg, SC, William Branson of Roebuck, SC, Clarence Branson of Boiling Springs, SC and Alvin Branson of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Mr. Branson was preceded in death by his sister, Mary L. Ferguson. A Celebration of the Life of Willie James Branson will be held graveside on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Foster Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, 2800 Stone Station Road, Roebuck, SC. Reverend Thomas E. Massey, Jr. will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home, 170 Evans Drive, Roebuck, SC.
