Obituary For Willie Hilliard, Sr.
Willie J. Hilliard, Sr., 75, peacefully entered into eternal rest on January 3, 2019. Mr. Hilliard was the son of the late Lucille Henrietta Curtis and Isaac Woodard, Jr. He was the husband of Joyce L. Hilliard.
Willie was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
He retired from Charter Communications after twenty years of service.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his daughters, Regina Williams and Alisha (Danny) Burnside both of Boiling Springs, SC, Danielle (Calvin) Scholar and Melana (Shawn Bostic) Braithwaite both of NY; his son, Aaron (Nicole) Martin; his thirteen grandchildren; his three great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Willie was preceded in death by his son, Willie Jerome Hilliard, Jr.
A Celebration of the Life of Willie J. Hilliard, Sr. will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 502 S. Daniel Morgan Ave., Spartanburg SC. Rev. Dr. M. Keith McDaniel, Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in the Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Roebuck, SC.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC.
The family will receive friends at the home, 101 Capetown Ct., Boiling Springs, SC.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked with Willie back when’s it was Telecable of Spartanburg. He was such a kind man. I know he will be missed dearly, but is definitely rejoicing in his renewed mind and body!!
He made watching American Idol 1000 times more entertaining. He knew what singing was unlike most people on the show and made that very clear
