Obituary For Wilma Jeter

Ms. Wilma Kathleen Jeter was born on July 4, 1936, in
Spartanburg, SC to the late Irenus Jeter and Birdie Davis Jeter. She entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

She joined Cleveland Chapel at a young age, and later prince of peace.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: teo daughters, Judy A. Jeter and Lise M. Jeter; three sons, Gerald R. Jeter, Anthony J. Jeter and Keith J. Jeter; one grandson reared in the home, Tramaine L. Jeter; six other grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives

.
She was preceded in death by a very devoted friend, James R. Curry; one son, Timothy D. Jeter; two brothers, Edward Jeter and Gary Jeter; and three sisters, Ruby Jeter, Joyce Holland and Betty Anderson.

Ms. Jeter was a God-fearing woman who loved her family. She enjoyed telling jokes and keeping everyone laughing. Attending church was very important to her and she did it faithfully until
her health declined. We her family are assured that she is happy to be in the forever home with our eternal father. She fought a good fight and she suffers no more.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 12:00 noon at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2256 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC.
