Obituary For Yvonne Byrd

Spartanburg, SC - Yvonne Byrd, 65, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 21, 2016. Mrs. Byrd was the daughter of the late Richard Byrd, Jr. and Walter Mary Long Byrd. Yvonne was employed with Magnolia Manor, previously known as Pinewood Convalescent Home for thirty-seven years as a Certified Nurse Assistant. She was recognized by Magnolia Manor for her stellar professional service with compassion. Mrs. Byrd was a member of Ray of Hope. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her siblings, Walter Gerald Byrd, Gary Edward Byrd, Jocelyn Elaine Alexander (James), Linda Kay Watson and Lisa Byrd; her special aunt, Eloise Moss; her nieces, Melissa Watson, April Byrd, Jasmine Alexander and Jonquil Alexander; and a host of great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Marcus Byrd. A Celebration of the Life of Yvonne Byrd will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Destiny Fellowship Church, 3825 S. Church St. Ext., Roebuck, SC. The Reverend Willard Smith will officiate. Interment will be in the Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Spartanburg, SC. The family will receive friends at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Eloise Moss, 154 Lincoln Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29301.
