Reko, was a true one! We met the night of the Swahili Ball in 2023. We laughed and talked in the lobby of the hotel until 4 am. We danced and sang and listened to the hotel lobby music selection lol. Just from that evening I felt like he and I could continue to something good. Reko showed his true colors, his kindness, his sweetness, a true gentleman, funny, smart, open, caring, just perfect. Im from NY but reside in Cincinnati so I returned home that Sunday but we kept in touch for a while. Several months later myself and a few of my homegirls returned to Lex for a different event. I reached out to Reko and he offered to take us around. He showed us a good time!! We stopped by the casino where the Dj threw down, she kept us on our feet. Later to learn that the Dj was his cousin!!! From there he escorted us to a local bar/club where, yet again, we had a ball. Reko WAS the party, his energy his realness just him and no one was a stranger. LOL. Needless to say we met a plethora of folks that night. Once in the "club/bar" he hit the floor and it was on from there. He danced, until we left! Reko was just a standup guy and will be greatly missed from his friends over here in Cincinnati!!!! We didn't have a lot of time together but time we did WE HAD A BALL. Gone way to soon way too soon. Save a dance for me Reko! Love ya! Your New Yorker aka Nykyi

Mr. Webb you have always been the one I could talk to about anything. You came and picked me up to get me out the house when I was having such a bad week, we would check on each other and check in on how the kids were doing and always talked on our birthdays. Definitely going to miss the uncontrollable laughs we shared and most of all the talks. You have always been a positive constant not just for me but so many others. You Sir will truly be missed! The kids and I would always see him at Walmart on Saron Dr. and he would say hey cuz, where Mario at. He would say to Jermont, boy you getting tall. Before he left, he would hug me and the kids say I love you guys, tell Mario his cousin said hi and love you. The last time we saw him he came over to our old house before we moved and hung out with us and a friend of ours and laughed, watched a movie and had fun. You will truly be missed.

I don't know where to start. He always put a smile on my face and reminded me how strong of a woman I am. I will definitely miss the big tight hugs he gave me when I felt at my lowest. When I moved hear from Atlanta, never had work in a plant before. He encouraged me to hang in there. So respectful and kind. He had a smile that would cheer the saddest days. At one point he wasn't sure I'd make it, I could tell. I end up excelling all the way to a Quality Technician. He planted a seed of encouragement. May he rest in power!🖤
