James Thomas Morton, 83 â known to many as J.T.â Passed away on Saturday November 6, 2021 at Clark Regional Hospital, Winchester, KY.
J.T. Is survived by his children; Vel ( Luther) Williams, Cynthia (Jim) Tevis, Ronald Morton and James ( Jonnie Mae) Hopewell.
preceding J. T. in death are his parents; Melvin Morton and Velma McCaffery.
Also preceding J.T. In death his wife of 61 years Virginia Morton and a daughter Stacy Owsley.
Visitation 11:00 A.M. Funeral 1:00 P.M.

Prayers for his family, we shared many wonderful conversations while working out together at Planet Fitness, blessed to get to know him briefly, and will miss seeing him there, and in the neighborhood!
My dad worked with J.T at A&P grocery store years ago always was a ray of sunshine !! Such a sweet man and always like to joke around he was truly one of a kind !!!
