Mr. Dwayne Caldwell, 64, of Charlotte, North Carolina, peacefully departed this life on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.

My sincere condolences to my cousin Audrey H. Caldwell, Anthony, Kreshon and the entire family. I praise God for the Beautiful memories I have of Dwayne. He was a joy to be around and we always had a great time when we were in each other's presence or even if I was on the phone with Audrey. I pray for God's perfect peace during this time of bereavement.
Caldwell kept the young kids in check at church. They couldn't get nothing over on him. I love y'all and praying for you all.
Praise God a wonderful soldier has taken his last salute. Dwayne was such a wonderful friend, neighbor. We lived next door to each other on Sloan drive, raised each others children, became best of friends and neighbors. He will be greatly missed. Audrey you my (sister) we go way back, I will always be there for you. Love you and God will always be there with you and your family.
