Mr. James McIlwain, Jr., 39, of Charlotte passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at King's Funeral Home Chapel, 4000 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28216.
Visitation: 11:00 AM / Celebration of Life: 12:00 PM
Burial will follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens, 11001 Alexandriane Road, Huntersville, NC 28078.

Dj , was a great person. He always had a smile and he loved his family.. He was and will always be our family. Me and my wife , our hearts go out to his wife , the kids and his family.. He always wanted to battle me in a cook off... But , the time never came. We will meet again Cuz and we will have that Cook Off.. Sending love & prayers. We Miss You!!
