Tianay Foster sent Serene Lily Basket for Monte' Daniels - May 03, 2025
I was just informed of Monte' passing and it sadden my heart. Monte was always a pleasant person. When Monte came by to deliver mail or just say hello and share a good word. I always found our chats enchanting and positive. He will be missed here at the office. "Eternal rest grant unto Monte, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through your mercy, rest in peace. Amen."
He was such a great faithful man of God, worked hard, anlways came through for people, a true light in this dark world and I will miss him dearly.
Monte was a gentle soul who always had a smile. I always went out of my way to say hello because he was such a kind individual. He will be missed by many. My sincere condolences to his family.
Monte was such a gentle and kind person and I will miss him dearly! I met Monte while working for BofA. We both love the Dallas Cowboys and we would stop and talk about how we loved them...and how we would always ride for the Cowboys!! He was so nice to me and would always make a point to ask me how I was. Rest easy my friend and HOW BOUT DEM'COWBOYS!
I met Monte over 20 years ago at work and am heartbroken for all who knew him. He was always just a kind, gentle, and caring soul. We shared our wins, losses, obstacles, and general obersvations. His heart was pure and his light strong. May we all rest easy knowing how blessed we were to have known him.
Monte was a friend for over 15 years and would stop by my office to see visit everyday. I am heartbroken and miss him terribly already, but also know he is in a much better place...... Safe in the arms of Jesus. Sending warm thoughts, much love and abundant prayers to his family.
I met monte' in 2015. He was a man of God. We often talk about Sunday service first thing Monday morning. We worked in the same building uptown. I'm going to miss our conversation seeing him through out the day and him stopping on my post to talk with me. Well done, good and faithful servant.
Monte' was a very special man. He would stop by my office while delivering interoffice mail and with a little wave and crooked grin whisper "hello". Over the years we talked about faith and where God was moving in our lives.
Monte's greatest gift was evangelism. He shared his testimonial about working with the homeless in downtown Charlotte - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CT00oXr8Is&t=45s. As he so eloquently stated, "you never know when God gonna call you". God called you to His heavenly kingdom, Monte'. You will be missed but never forgotten.
Monte' was a special and integral part of our team at work, always ready for any side quests and special tasks. Whenever he had a free moment you would see him around uptown Charlotte engaged in conversation with someone, even if it was just a brief hello. His demeanor was one of fellowship and trust. His work ethic clearly outshined many of us - we will miss you and pray your spirit is at rest. Coffee in the morning and talking about books won't ever be the same without you - Gabe
I met Monte' on the first day of my first corporate job. He came in almost every morning with a smile, excited to get his favorite coffee from the break room - he called it his "GoGo Juice". Monte even tried the very first batch of sourdough bread I made and assured me it was good (it definitely wasnt my best work). It was always a delight to see and talk to him in the mornings and he will be missed.
Our staff will continue to keep your family in our prayers. We thank you for allowing us to serve your family.
