ALDWIN GREGORY JACKSON, SR., was born February 27, 1972, to Loretta Jackson Lewis and Richard McNair. My beloved husband transitioned to his heavenly home on May 14, 2024, after being assisted and surrounded by some of the most amazing and compassionate co-workers one could ever have at Starbucks Soluble Plant where he’d worked for almost ten years. Al was a graduate of the 1990 Class of Thomson High School. After graduating, he was employed at various companies where he’d mastered every assignment. Al later completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in International Management from Columbia Southern University with the encouragement and support of his wife, Tia. Aldwin was preceded in death by: his grandmother, Flora Bell Jackson; grandfathers, George Wilburn and Robert McNair; and several aunts and uncles. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife of twelve years, Leteta “Tia” Jackson; children, Kenneth Isaiah Jackson, Albria Jackson, Aldwin Jackson Jr. and Aubree Woodley; grandchildren, Baby Airyss, Arianna, Savannah, Ameer, Jiah, Junee and Kayla; aunts, Betty Willingham, Virginia Crawford, Mary Cason, Gwendolyn (Louie) Tucker, Pearline Harris and Betty Thomas; uncle, Roy McNair; mother-in-law, Mattie Grant; siblings-in-law, Kevin (Shamara) Tucker, Christopher (Annette) Tucker, Qishon Tucker, Travis Tucker, Richard (Stephanie) Tucker, Timothy Tucker and Kim Grant; like brothers, Ben Crawford and Kevin Tucker; and a host of cousins, friends and his beloved Starbucks family.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Kinsey & Walton Chapel, 3618 Peach Orchard Road. (706) 790-8858

My thoughts and prayers go out to Al's family. As much as he spoke about them, I feel like I know them personally.
