Mrs. Alma Frances Perkins Nobles departed this life on Thursday, June 25, 2026, in Augusta, GA. She, a native of Washington, Wilkes County, Georgia, had lived in Augusta, GA, since 1954.

She was born on May 24, 1932, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Wesley “Wes” Perkins and Dolly Graves Perkins. She was the wife of the late Charles Nobles, Sr. They had five children, one of whom, Ricky Allen Nobles, preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters: Ms. Debra A. Nobles of Augusta, GA; Ms. Jacqueline N. Smith of Augusta, GA; and Ms. Jeannette Nobles of Augusta, GA; one stepson, Charles Nobles Jr. of Delran, New Jersey; one sister, Lillie P. Harris of Grand Rapids, MI; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Viewing will be Thursday, July 2, 2026, one hour before the service from 10 am to 11 am at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11 am, July 2, 2026, at Kinsey & Walton Chapel.

Interment will be at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden, 3666 Deans Bridge Rd.
