Annie W. Aiken, 100, entered into eternal rest Monday, December 22, 2025, at her residence.
Annie W. Aiken was born October 15, 1925, to the late Wallace and Amanda Cohen.
At an early age, she gave her life to Christ and was a member of the Hosannah Baptist Church, where she was a dedicated member of the Usher Board.
She was educated in the Richmond County Public School System.
Annie was united in marriage to the late J. B. Aiken, in the year of 1946. To this union they had five children: Essie (Ernest) Smith, Theresa (Hensel) Smith, Harold (Brenda) Aiken, Bernard Aiken, and Annette Merrell.
In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her daughter, Annette Merrell and grandson, Willie Aiken.
Those she leaves to cherish her memory are her sister, Rosetta Cohen; brother, Henry Cohen; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren; dedicated granddaughter, Pat Merrell; god-children, Annette Green and Melvin Covington; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be 2 pm, Saturday, December 27, 2025, in Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home Chapel.
Public viewing will be from 2 pm to 6 pm, Friday, December 26, 2025.
Family will receive friends Friday from 4 pm to 6 pm at the funeral home.
