Obituary For Bennie Thomas Smith
Bennie Thomas Smith, born in Brookhaven, Mississippi, on September 1, 1945, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025. He spent most of his life in California working as a truck driver and faced more than ten years of dialysis with strength and determination. Though quiet and reserved, Bennie deeply loved his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at 1035 Douglas Rd, Harlem, GA 30814.

He was a beautiful person I met him at the center we played cards together and we play rise and fly I said I'm not getting up do I have to get up in and he said no you always do what you want to do he was so sweet gentle soul his wings were ready but we're never ready resting in Paradise my friend
