Brenda Hall Leverett was born to Ulus Hall and Florence Jackson on April 11, 1940. She left this earthly realm June 23, 2024.
She was raised Catholic from an early age but received the Lord our God through baptism at the great age of 83.
Brenda served in the United States Navy from 1958-1961, where she learned her trade of surgical technology. Brenda would go on to work and retire from University Hospital (now Piedmont) and was also a travel nurse. It allowed her to travel to many different places, see many different things and help many different people from across the country. Brenda loved life. She fully believed in helping anyone in need. She raised her children and helped raise 4 of her 8 grandchildren at different stages of their lives as well as took in and helped many people of the community.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son Devereaux Lloyd (Nyree); daughter Love Hawkins (Steven); eight grandchildren, Brennen Cobb, Demarcus Cobb, Loveleigh Alexis, Nate Rothwell, Kenneth Racca, Alayna Lloyd, Sophia Lloyd, Aaliyah Lloyd, and one great grandchild Omari Meridith.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, June 29, 2024, in Kinsey & Walton Chapel. The family will receive friends, Friday from 4 pm to 6 pm, at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard. The service will be live streamed on Kinsey & Walton Facebook page.
Brenda has always been amazing in the giving and caring in her heart, where the issues of life are.
