Obituary For Chandra M. Landy
Ms. Chandra Michelle Landy, 58, entered into rest Sunday, July 30, 2023, in Hephzibah, Georgia. Chandra was born in Augusta, Georgia on May 24, 1965, to Leroy and Blanch McKeller. She graduated from North Augusta High School. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Organizational Management from Voorhees College. She later received her Masters of Science in Counseling and Psychology.
Her career path was designed early in life by establishing a passion for helping people with special needs and disabilities. She was an integral part of East Central Regional Hospital as a Recovery Team Facilitator until her retirement. After she retired, her commitment to helping others grew and she started her own business, Safe at Home, LLC., as a Host Home Provider until her death.
Chandra Landy is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Blanch McKeller; daughter, Candice Broadnax; sister, Wanda Gale Mabry; and brothers, Michael McKeller and Karl McKeller.
Chandra Landy’s legacy will be cherished by her son, Brandon (Bridget) Broadnax; grandchildren, Bryson and Brea Broadnax; brother, Roy McKeller; niece, Franda Clay; nephews, Frank Mabry, Michael Hillary, and Torez Hillary; and a host of family and close friends.
A graveside celebration of life will be 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Hillcrest Memorial Park (2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, GA.) with Rev. Anthony Walker officiating. Interment will follow the service. Public viewing will be from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA. (706) 790-8858.
