Obituary For Charles N. Cody, Jr.
Charles N. Cody, Jr., affectionately known as “Chuck,” entered into rest Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at his residence. The son of Charles N. and Dorothy D. Cody, Sr.
Chuck was a proud graduate of Lucy Craft Laney, class of 1990. He later became a truck driver for various companies for several years. He was married to the mother of his children, Sherreta Cody.
Chuck is survived by his children, Diante' M. Cody, SaCorya C. Cody, Jaylen J. Cody, and JaKayla N. Cody; grandchildren, Fallon Thomas and Hasan Dixon, Jr; parents, Charles N. and Dorothy D. Cody; sister, Monica Cody-Smith; a host of other relatives and loving friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 3 pm to 5 pm, at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 12 noon, Monday, October 13, 2025, at Greater Young Zion Baptist Church, 405 Sand Bar Ferry Road. Interment, Walker Memorial Park, 620 Laney Walker Blvd.
