Mr. Thompson you were the father of our neighborhood when we were children. I've been knowing you since I was in elementary school. You gave all of us kids around the neighborhood a place to swim and have fun at. Felt like you gave us a water park for free. Those of us who were the closest to Malcolm, you treated us a tad more special. Thank you for the trips out of state, church events, and for some of the best barbecue I've eaten in my life because you sir was indeed a grill master! Rest Mr. Thompson (THE Neighborhood Father & the Backbone) of those streets we grew up on in Jackson, MS. Because of your part played we were safe! May God rest your soul.
