Obituary For Cynthia Sanders

Cynthia Sanders, a beloved mother, daughter, niece, and friend, passed away on July 29, 2024, in Augusta GA at the age of 66. Cynthia was born in Manhattan, NY on May 7th, 1958. She attended Butler High School in Augusta GA. Cynthia loved interior design, gardening, listening to music and singing. She loved being a care giver to others as she worked in the medical field for over 33 years before retiring from Veteran Affairs Medical Center. Cynthia's family was her joy as she loved and cherished them all deeply. Cynthia is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Sanders; mother, Lucille Bullock, Great-Grandmother Mary Hill Bullock, Great-Grandfather Thomas Matterson Bullock, Aunts Betty and Ruth Bullock, Uncles Willie Bullock, Thomas Bullock, and James Bullock, George Bullock. Those left to cherish her memory; son, Carlos Sanders and Jose Quinones, cousins; Kenneth (Helen) Bullock, Cassandra Bullock, Taha (Kwania) Bullock, Renee Bullock, Mary Bullock, Charles Bullock, Gilda Alexander and extended family Floydena Walker, Osborne Feelings, and Clinton Jameson.

A Celebration of Life will be 10:00 am, Friday, August 23, 2024, at Kinsey & Walton Chapel. Interment will follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC.
