Obituary For Edward “EJ” James Reeves
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mr. Edward “EJ” James Reeves, who was called home on Friday, January 23, 2026.
Edward was a devoted husband, a loving and present father, and a proud grandfather whose life was defined by love, strength, and quiet generosity. He was a man who led with his heart, always placing family first and offering wisdom, encouragement, and unwavering support to those he loved. His kindness, laughter, and steady presence will deeply be missed and forever cherished.
He leaves behind his devoted wife, Michelle Reeves; his children, sons Edward James Reeves Jr. (Mokina) and Cory Diamond, daughter, Mia Roberts; and his beloved grandchildren, Jaelyn Reeves, Jasmine Reeves, Malia Myricks, and Brixton White, all of whom were the joy of his life.
Edward’s legacy of love, dedication, and compassion will live on through his family and all who were blessed to know him.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 2:00pm at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, Ga.
