Ijaih Kenneth Drayton, Sr., age 58, passed away on September 4, 2025.
He was born May 19, 1967, a beloved son of Virginia Drayton and the late Mr. Isaac Drayton Sr.
Ijaih dedicated his career to serving others through his work at WellStar Hospital. He was known for his loving heart, infectious humor, and ability to bring joy wherever he went. His laughter could fill a room, and his radiant smile was one of the biggest and brightest. To know Ijaih was to know happiness, he had a gift for making others feel good even on their hardest days.
In addition to his father and his beloved wife, Sharon Denise Drayton, he was preceded in death by other cherished family members.
He is survived by his daughters, Tiffany (Dominique) Walker and LaKenya Drayton; his son, Ijaih Kenneth Drayton, Jr.; and three beloved granddaughters, Rhianna Johnson, Aniya Johnson, and Jamaria Walker. He also leaves behind his siblings, Valerie Walker, Audery Cummings, Connie Drayton, Tina (Micheal) Wiley, Ronnie (Annissa) Roland, Lonnie Roland, Sherrie (Adrian) Jenkins, Issac (Jana) Drayton, and Ronald (Ureatha) Drayton; one living aunt, Ina Williams; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends who will miss him dearly.
Ijaih’s memory will live on in the laughter he inspired, the love he shared, and the joy he brought into the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Viewing will be Friday, September 12, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
